We have been lead to believe that Doctors and the Medical industry are there to heal us from all sorts of disease and sickness. We are told medical professionals are miracle workers that have our best interest at heart and seldom do us any harm.  

The reality is the Pharmaceutical companies are at the top of the medical food chain.  They educated/brainwash overworked doctors into prescribing drugs that in many cases hurt more than they help.

Pharmaceutical company are there to make a profit for their shareholders. They can either make a few hundred dollars curing disease or many hundreds of thousands of dollars managing the same disease.  This is why you will never see a cure for  many diseases.  

I believe MD's are great at repairing the body after an accident but those same doctors know very little about curing common diseases.
